A romantic Winter Wedding in Athens. A vintage celebration with Playmobil figures.

Winter weddings have a certain charm that is all their own, and this was certainly the case for the wedding of Christiana and Panagiotis, which took place in Athens on a cold Sunday in winter.

The design concept for the wedding was vintage, with the added touch of playful Playmobil figures throughout the event.

The couple’s love for each other was evident in every detail of the day, and they were surrounded by their closest friends and family.

The bride’s vintage white wedding dress was a stunning addition to the overall vintage design concept of the wedding. The dress was a beautiful and elegant choice from , with intricate lace detailing and a classic silhouette that added to the timeless feel of the event. The bride’s choice of a vintage dress reflected her personal style and added a touch of nostalgia to the day. It was the perfect choice , adding to the romantic and intimate atmosphere of the occasion. Shoes are handcrafted by Mary Kliafa from Fairymade .

The ceremony took place in the historic “Ieros Naos Metamorfoseos tis Theotokou” church in Athens, which was filled with stunning wall paintings from Christianism. The groomsmen were the couple’s three closest girlfriends and a male friend, adding to the intimate and personal feel of the event.

After the ceremony, the couple and their guests made their way to the Ktima Polo Club for the wedding reception.

The reception was full of unique and charming touches, such as a candy bar filled with sweet goodies and flowers and decorations from the esteemed Antoinetta Koutsouradi Flowershop in Kifisia . The DJ booth and open bar were the hot spots of the evening, and guests danced the night away to their favorite tunes.

One of the most special aspects of the wedding was the many secret surprises that the couple had prepared for their guests. They shared videos and anecdotal photos from their childhoods, created group spaces where guests could mingle and catch up, and even had hidden garters for guests to discover. These personal touches made the wedding feel truly special and unique to the couple.

Overall, this wedding in Athens was a romantic and intimate affair, full of personal touches and surprises for guests to enjoy.

From the vintage design concept to the playful Playmobil figures, the couple’s love and personality shone through in every detail of the day. It was truly a winter wedding to remember.
