Celebrating a New Life with Family and Friends

On a hot, sunny Sunday, I had the pleasure of photographing a baptism at Agios Kosmas church, located in Agios Kosmas, Athens Riviera. The concept was bright white minimal, and the baby, a beautiful brown-eyed girl named Anthea, was smiley and lovely.

As I captured the joyous occasion, I couldn’t help but notice the family’s pride as they watched their little one receive the sacrament of baptism. The godfather was dressed in total beige shirt and pants, while the baby’s parents were dressed in elegant, coordinating outfits.

The church was adorned with white flowers and candles, creating a serene atmosphere.

The priest led the ceremony, and the family and friends looked on as the holy water was sprinkled on Anthea’s head, signifying the start of a new life.

After the ceremony, the family and guests headed to a local restaurant to celebrate the event. The restaurant was located in a scenic location, overlooking the sea, and the tables were decorated with white flowers and candles, continuing the bright white minimal theme.

The menu was filled with delicious local food, including fresh seafood, meats, and vegetables, and the guests enjoyed wine, beer, and other refreshing beverages. The atmosphere was festive, and everyone was in good spirits.

As the night went on, the guests danced to traditional Greek music, celebrating the new life of Anthea. It was a joyous occasion, and the family and friends created memories that will last a lifetime.
